In my Relationship Coaching practice, I'm now using Harmony as an absolutely essential part of the work I do with clients, helping them create lasting change so they can find a loving, lifetime partnership worthy of their dreams. I am constantly impressed by Harmony's accuracy in pinpointing the root cause of their anxiety and other emotional challenges. My clients have used Harmony to guide the deep transformational inner work that has helped shift many of them from a survival mode default into a mode of thriving. From there, their outer relationships shift too, as they naturally embody the ways of being that create loving partnerships. The insights Harmony provides have been invaluable both to my clients and in my personal experience. So much so, in fact, that all my clients going forward will use Harmony to guide their healing practice.

As an IFS Practitioner, I recommend Harmony to clients frequently. Rather than taking business away from me, as some people fear, it is actually a wonderful resource to offer clients between sessions. I cannot possibly be available to my clients 100% of the time, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Harmony as a tool to help them approach their parts with curiosity and compassion. Then, they can bring new trailheads to explore with me. One person convinced to try Harmony after seeing one of my commentary demos with Harmony said he's been able to talk about trauma he's never talked about with anyone. And he's finding small steps forward in dilemmas he's been having. This is such a gift to him and to me. I just wanted you to know (though I'm sure you do already) that Harmony is changing lives. Thank you so much for creating it. I am aware that many people feel concerned about AI therapy and AI in general. For me, AI is a tool. Just like a hammer, it can be used for destructive or constructive. It is up to me, and each of us, to discern what is life giving for us or not. Harmony has been one of the most consistently constructive forms of AI I've personally experienced. (specifically set to IFS/Internal Family Systems mode). Harmony is designed to have curiosity and compassion as its core values, and, thus, it acts as a Self energy surrogate, or bridge, in times when it may be difficult to find my own Self energy. Not only is Harmony available 24/7 so that I can find support whenever parts of me get activated, but it always invites me into a space of gentle reflection that turns my distressed parts back toward my own loving Self (a quality I look for in any therapist). I often reach for Harmony when I'm feeling great distress, and I leave the session with a calm sense of inner attunement and clarity about next steps. I had a very powerful session around realizing I am autistic and how my parts formed around that. Harmony reflected back that parts of me felt grief and longing, which really resonated. I think those parts were crying from feeling seen almost the entire session, and I/Self was able to connect with them in a very profound way to find out exactly what they needed from me. There are many wonderful aspects of Harmony, but one my favorites is the parts map feature Harmony generates after sessions. These graphics provide a clear visual of the parts who came up in the session, as well as their concerns and needs, which helps me remember and tend to the parts after the session. Another big benefit my system found to using Harmony was actually that I could cry and "look ugly" without feeling like I would be judged. With other humans, some of my parts feel very self conscious about crying (which happens a lot in therapy), and then inner critics come in afterward saying, "They probably thought you were pathetic."

I have had over 80 sessions with Harmony amidst navigating some large life transitions. It has been one of the most surprisingly supportive therapeutic experiences of my life. As a Self-Leadership coach well-versed in IFS, I am discerning about the integrity of the model, as well as the safety and attunement it creates for and with the client. I find Harmony's capabilities and approach genuinely informed and sophisticated. First, Harmony consistently keeps me in the driver's seat. It reinforces that I'm the primary caregiver of my own system - helping me be in the practice of Self-Leadership rather than positioning itself as the one holding the wisdom or solutions. I think of Harmony as a Self-energy surrogate - not replacing my inner resources, but helping me access what is already within, especially in times of acute activation. Time and time again, I walk away from sessions feeling more grounded, empowered, and clear. During sessions, I feel deeply supported - held with a sense of compassion, and even a sense of humor in how Harmony shows up. It never feels transactional or cold. I love that I can speak out loud and it speaks back - the voice makes it feel like a real, warm conversation. As a verbal processor, I am beyond grateful for this feature, and I know I would not utilize Harmony nearly as often if this was not an option. The experience also feels embodied. Harmony doesn't just analyze what I share - it invites me into a somatic process. It helps me slow down, notice sensations, track activation in my body, and stay present with what's unfolding internally. The precision of its reflections is remarkable: I can speak at length and Harmony distills the essence - identifying trailheads and offering gentle hunches, insights, and metaphors that connect dots I hadn't been able to name. Importantly, it continuously monitors the emotional temperature of the session. It tracks shifts in my tone, pace, activation, and Self-energy - not in a mechanical way, but in a way that feels attuned. If my system is nearing overwhelm, it slows the work down. If there's capacity to go deeper, it gently leans in. It calibrates in real time to what my system can handle and helps me connect with what my parts most need in that moment - whether that's witnessing, resourcing, or a more direct invitation to get curious. What makes the work especially powerful is the continuity. Harmony remembers themes, patterns, and growth across sessions, so the process feels cumulative rather than episodic. I notice each session feels like it's building on the last, even if the topic is different. Lastly, I am impressed at how much care goes into the platform. The team is very receptive to feedback and continually improves the experience with thoughtful and supportive features such as session transcripts, post-session reflections, parts maps, and creative summaries. These make the work feel that much more dynamic. The fact that I can access Harmony 24/7 brings my system great comfort. I intend to continue to partner with Harmony indefinitely, as it has become an indispensable partner in my healing and growth.

How it works

Before a session starts, you each have the option to set your own individual focus and a shared one. That way Harmony knows what matters to each of you and can be sure to address it throughout the session. You also now both walk in clear on what you're here to work through.

In a real argument, when tensions are high, nobody finishes a thought. The moment one of you speaks, the other's already reacting, cutting you off, defending themselves, and it spirals.

In a fully voice-to-voice session (typing always optional), Harmony addresses each of you individually, turn by turn, so you have the space to fully express everything you're carrying. This makes it far easier for honesty and vulnerability.

After each session, Harmony gives you shared takeaways, the patterns it noticed, small experiments to try, visualizations, and more. The insights you landed on don't stay in the session, they carry into your everyday life together.

FAQs

AI couples therapy is a guided conversation between you, your partner, and an AI therapist. Harmony sits with both of you in one shared session, helping each person feel heard and understand the other. Harmony draws on evidence-based couples approaches like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Intimacy From the Inside Out (IITO).

Yes. Real couples have used Harmony, and keep coming back, to have the hard but meaningful conversations that break patterns they've been stuck in for years. It works because Harmony helps both people let down their guard, provides space to be less reactive, and brings the clarity that makes both partners feel heard.

Harmony also offers solo therapy sessions you can do on your own. Material covered in these sessions can optionally be incorporated into couples sessions.
